The room was OK, nothing special. TV didn’t work but we didn’t report it because weren’t too bothered so can’t comment on what the reaction would have been. However, the absolute star of our two night stay was the food. It really was fantastic and incredible value for the quality. There were a dozen of us and so we tried most things in the menu. Almost every dish was outstanding. If you stay here, do not miss dinner in the hotel. Staff were efficient and friendly.

For the price this is an excellent little hotel with great views over the estuary. Our room was of a good size and we slept well. Breakfast was simple but absolutely fine as it came with a fresh cooked Full English plus all of the trimmings. As long as you book with the right expectations you won't be disappointed. We certainly weren't.
